Our History

  • Summer 2020

B2B was conceived during its first Zoom meeting, uniting a group of stakeholders around a vision for a non-motorized trail system.

  • 2021

B2B achieved 501(c)(3) status in June.

Initial trail design options were developed.

Initial landowner meetings and public engagement events were held in Glendive and Golva, ND.

Community concerns prompted a shift toward relationship-building efforts with local stakeholders.

  • 2022-2023

Focus on local trail-building efforts, including support for Glendive’s trail and path projects.

B2B hosted the Ride the Runway event in 2023, which featured its first Kids’ Bike Rodeo.

Awarded the NPS Recreation Trails Technical Assistance Grant to work with expert Lelia Mellen, resulting in a conceptual trail map.

  • End of 2023-Early 2024

Expanded board representation, adding members from Wibaux and Terry.

Terry identified as the anchor point for the trail.

The board continues to align trail development efforts with tourism, economic growth, land management, and community health.
